What we hold, and why

Cadence writes and publishes under your name, so it holds a small amount of sensitive material. This page says exactly what that is.

What we collect

  • Account details. Your email address, display name, role and optional profile picture.
  • LinkedIn connection. An access token issued to you by LinkedIn when you connect your profile, plus your LinkedIn name and profile identifier.
  • Your AI provider key. The key you supply for drafting, used only for your workspace.
  • Content you create. Sample posts you paste in, your pillars and beliefs, drafts Cadence produces, and the decision record behind each one.
  • Basic operational logs. Timestamps, error messages and usage counts needed to run the service.

What we do not collect

We do not sell data, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use your posts or writing samples to train any shared model. Your material is used to serve your workspace and nothing else.

How it is protected

  • LinkedIn tokens and AI provider keys are encrypted before they are stored.
  • Every record belongs to one workspace and is filtered at the database level, so a new account opens completely empty and can never read another account's rows.
  • Traffic to and from Cadence is encrypted in transit.

Who else is involved

Cadence runs on a small set of providers, each doing one job:

  • Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
  • LinkedIn — publishing and reading back your own post activity.
  • The AI provider you choose — drafting. Your prompts go to the provider whose key you supplied and are governed by that provider's terms.
  • Our hosting provider — serving the application.

How long we keep it

Content and logs stay for as long as your account is open. Disconnecting LinkedIn deletes the stored token immediately. Closing your account removes your workspace and everything in it within 30 days.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for the whole workspace to be deleted. Write to support@bdotindustries.com and we will action it within 30 days.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that affects you, we will email the address on your account before the change takes effect.
